The Scottish War Blinded Linburn Centre is for ex-forces men and women with sight loss, irrespective of cause. Situated to the west of Edinburgh it is an activity hub for men and women of all ages and abilities.
In early 2016 the Linburn Centre contacted the Club asking for technical advice on a former serviceman's art project to build a model railway. One of our members visited the Linburn Centre and we also arranged for them to visit the ELMRC clubrooms. While we gave some advice the layout was built entirely by the veterans at Linburn.
